It all Starts...

SORU is a cosmetic brand dedicated to japanese culture and craftsmanship.
By uniquely composing a vibrant collection of sour notes and sweet flavours,
SORU increases moments of joy found in daily life.

We are the agency behind SORU, PSBZ, an international design
and branding agency based in Hamburg’s HafenCity. We have a deep
passion for the Japanese way of life and have translated this into our
way of working. This direction was heavily influenced by our senior
managing director Peter Schmidt, who for many years now has a close
relationship with Japan. This has shaped his work and thus ours.

LOVINGLY
HANDCRAFTED

All SORU products are organically certified by the Seifenoase GmbH.
They are produced in XXXX and only tested on people. Our bottles are made from
100% recycled material and our FSC accredited boxes are formed of card from
sustainably managed forests. All of the packaging used is 100% recyclable.

DESIGNED
WITH PASSION

SORU, is a project from the heart which fits to the product as SORU is the Japanese
word for care. With SORU we have combined our many years of experience for packaging
design and corporate design solutions. In close cooperation with the very successful soap
manufacturer Seifenoase, the finest scents of selected plants and fruits from the
Japanese region were combined in order to create a unique fragrance.

Miyazaki is a Japanese variety of mango fruit, known for its sweet and exotic aroma. Each mango grows in the warm climate of the Miyazaki prefecture and contains a sweet yet tropical scent.

Hassaku is a Japanese citrus hybrid
which is closely related to the orange,
but double the size. It was discovered
near the Jōdo Temple in Inno-shima
and has a vitalizing aroma.
